Fabric Sourcing & Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end mill coordination, including commercial negotiations, development tracking, and quality assurance.
• Develop new fabric concepts with a focus on fiber content, construction, performance, and aesthetics.
• Promote sustainable fibers (organic, recycled, and regenerative) and low-impact dyeing and finishing processes.
• Ensure mill compliance with key certifications, including GOTS, GRS, OCS, BCI, OEKO-TEX, and ZDHC.
• Conduct seasonal research on fabric, wash, colour, and construction trends.
• Monitor competitor collections and emerging textile innovations to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Maintain the fabric library and development tracker.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology (Master's Degree preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of fabric quality, construction, dyeing, finishing, and sustainable practices.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in woven fabric sourcing and development.
