The Wheel Works (Pvt) Ltd is an Export oriented manufacturing company located in the Biyagama Export Processing Zone. The company was established in the year 2004. We mainly export our products to the Europe countries, Japan and our regional neighbours like India and Malaysia.

The company seeks the services of an experienced dynamic person to fill the below vacancy due to the expansion purposes. The selected candidate should demonstrate the knowledge and ability to take on related responsibilities and perform in a manufacturing industry.

POST OF TRAINEE DRAFT PERSON

Requirements/Qualifications

• Certificate / diploma in mechanical engineering, drafting, tool & die making, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawing and mechanical drawing.
• Basic knowledge of auto CAD is preferred.
• Knowledge of solid works / solid CAM will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of CNC machining, moulds, dies and mechanical components will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in tool design, mould design and CNC programming.
• Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
