Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Microbiology or related field with Microbiology as a subject

Experience

• Freshers may apply; any prior lab training or internship related to microbiology testing will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of microbiological samples
• Carry out routine testing for pathogens, yeast and mould and indicator organisms in food and water samples
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of result
• Prepare media and record data accurately
• Support in general laboratory housekeeping and equipment calibration
• Follow all health, safety and quality standards

Key Skills

• Basic microbiology knowledge
• Ability to carefully follow protocols and accurately record data
• Familiarity or willingness to learn sterile techniques, media preparation, and sample handling
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a busy lab environment
• Basic skills in using Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• Open to training and continuous professional development
