Role Summary

The Manager – Treasury & Finance oversees the organization's cash and liquidity management, banking relationships, funding strategies, investment activities, financial risk mitigation, taxation, and financial reporting. This role ensures optimal liquidity, compliance with financial policies, and supports business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Management

• Manage daily liquidity and funding requirements.
• Monitor cash flow forecasts and ensure optimal fund utilization.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Oversee investment decisions in compliance with internal policies.

Taxation

• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan tax regulations (Income Tax, VAT, NBT/SSCL, WHT, etc.).
• Prepare and review tax computations and returns.
• Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department and manage tax audits.
• Advise management on tax planning and risk mitigation.

Financial Reporting & Audit Support

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with SLFRS/LKAS.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and performance insights.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.

Requirements

• Full or part qualification in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a finance function within a bank or finance company.
• Strong knowledge of SLFRS, CBSL regulations, and the Sri Lankan tax framework.
• Hands-on experience in treasury operations and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
