UI/UX Intern

Role Summary

Kaishi Innovations is looking for a dedicated UI/UX Intern to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This unpaid internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with live projects, allowing you to gain professional critiques and develop a robust design portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform project needs into functional wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop responsive designs for various digital platforms, including dashboards and websites.
• Establish consistent design systems using reusable components, typography, and color palettes.
• Analyze current interfaces to enhance usability and accessibility standards.
• Generate design assets and technical specifications for seamless developer handovers.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure design fidelity during implementation.
• Communicate design logic and iterate based on constructive feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program related to IT, Computer Science, Multimedia, or UI/UX Design.
• Foundational knowledge of accessibility, visual hierarchy, and user-centered design principles.
• Proficiency with Figma or comparable design software.
• Capability to produce responsive layouts and prototypes.
• A portfolio showcasing academic work, personal projects, or design studies.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to study user behavior.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
