Role Summary

METEOR Media, a creative agency based in Dubai, is expanding its production operations by establishing a dedicated team in Sri Lanka. We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our Colombo office as a permanent staff member. In this role, you will collaborate directly with our Dubai-based production team to create high-quality visual content for international clients in sectors such as real estate, hospitality, and lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Produce diverse video content ranging from short-form social media clips and reels to longer brand films and property walkthroughs.
• Execute professional colour grading and audio mixing to ensure broadcast-quality output.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and subtitles into edits.
• Utilize advanced AI tools like Runway ML and Descript to optimize and speed up the editing process.
• Manage multiple project workflows, maintain organized assets, and utilize Frame.io for feedback loops.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• A deep understanding of pacing, storytelling, and social media video formats (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• Strong English communication skills for daily coordination with the Dubai team via Slack.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Desirable: Experience with After Effects and familiarity with AI-driven video technologies.
