Role Summary

The Bungalow is one of Galle Fort’s busiest and most sought-after dining venues. We are looking for confident, energetic, and service-minded individuals who can maintain high standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

Waiters / Service Professionals

• Previous experience in a quality restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong spoken English and confident guest communication.
• Good understanding of restaurant service and sequence of service.
• Interest in food, wine, cocktails, and menu recommendations.
• Confidence to recommend and upsell appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail, grooming, and table presentation.
• Ability to build genuine rapport with local and international guests.
• A warm, professional, and naturally hospitable personality.

Junior Bartenders

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and bar service.
• Genuine interest in developing beverage knowledge and bartending skills.
• Ability to work quickly, cleanly, and accurately during busy service periods.
• Strong organisation, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Good spoken English and confidence interacting with guests.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced bar professionals.

Salary / Benefits

Earning Potential: During peak season, strong performers typically earn between LKR 200,000 to LKR 250,000+ per month (including base salary, service charge, and tips).
