Assistant Manager Warehouse & Distribution - Wadduwa (FMCG, Food & Beverages)

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations of raw and packing material warehouses, including inventory control, space & floor productivity management, logistics arrangement, and quality assurance.
• Inspecting equipment, tools, and machinery; overseeing general maintenance, safety, and hygiene activities.
• Executing weekly demand and supply planning in coordination with cross-functional teams and reviewing inventory.
• Achieving financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Training, motivating, and managing the warehouse team to ensure safe storage and maximum efficiency.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar capacity within a food manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to advanced best practices in supply planning and warehouse operation.
• Degree or advanced diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistic Management, or Supply and Materials Management.
• Prior experience in the tea or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
• Proactive leadership with strong work ethics, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Salary: 180K-200K (Negotiable)
