Warehouse Clerk - Central Bearings & Machinery (Pvt) Ltd

Role Summary

Central Bearings & Machinery (CBM) is Sri Lanka's premier bearings and machinery supplier. We are looking for a reliable, computer-literate individual to join our Warehouse team at our Seeduwa Engineering Services & Warehouse Complex. This is a hands-on role for someone who is eager to learn our extensive product range and build a long-term career with a well-established, growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and record incoming stock against invoices and purchase orders.
• Pick, pack and prepare items accurately for dispatch and delivery.
• Maintain organised stock locations and keep the warehouse clean, safe and orderly.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Learn product codes, brands and specifications over time - building the product knowledge that supports growth within the company.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Fluency in Sinhala — essential.
• Basic computer literacy — comfortable using a computer for data entry and looking up information (essential).
• A genuine interest in learning about our products and the industry.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
• A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Physically fit and able to carry out warehouse duties — lifting and moving stock, and being on your feet.

Added Advantage

• Working knowledge of English (reading and writing) - a strong plus for progression.
• G.C.E. O/L or A/L qualifications.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or inventory role.
• Familiarity with inventory or ERP computer systems.
• Residence in or near Seeduwa, Katunayake or Negombo.
