Role Summary

As a Web Developer at The Permalinks, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, high-quality user-centric, and SEO-optimized websites and web applications. The role focuses on delivering visually appealing, functional, and technically robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites using platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and Multipass.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional and user-friendly websites.
• Optimize websites for performance, including page speed, core web vitals, and resource efficiency.
• Implement and maintain e-commerce functionalities, including shopping carts, payment gateways, and product catalogs.
• Ensure seamless user experiences across various devices and screen resolutions.
• Perform continuous testing for compatibility and troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain and implement secure website practices, including SSL, certificates, access control, and regular updates.
• Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and digital marketing teams.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on web development experience with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Proven experience working with major CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Multipass).

Technical Knowledge

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular).
• Knowledge of back-end technologies: PHP, MySQL, or similar server-side programming languages.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with debugging and testing tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools).
• Experience with e-commerce frameworks like Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of cloud services and hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).

Salary/Benefits

Salary: 100,000.00 - 120,000.00 per month
