We are currently hiring an Executive – Website Development & Management to develop, maintain, and manage company websites while ensuring high standards of functionality, performance, security, usability, and digital presentation in line with business objectives and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Developing, maintaining, and managing company websites and web-based platforms.
- Creating new website pages, landing pages, forms, features, and digital content based on business requirements.
- Managing and updating website content, images, banners, menus, products, services, and other digital information.
- Working with CMS platforms such as WordPress and other relevant website management systems.
- Developing responsive websites that provide an optimal user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Coordinating with graphic designers, content creators, digital marketers, and other relevant teams to implement website requirements.
- Reviewing website layouts, designs, functionality, responsiveness, usability, navigation, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshooting and resolving website errors, technical issues, broken links, content issues, and other website-related problems.
- Monitoring website performance, loading speed, uptime, security, and overall functionality.
- Coordinating website maintenance, domain, hosting, SSL certificates, backups, security, and technical support activities.
- Implementing website security measures and ensuring websites are maintained according to appropriate security standards.
- Performing regular website backups and coordinating restoration activities when required.
- Implementing basic SEO best practices to improve website visibility, search rankings, traffic, and online presence.
- Optimising website pages, headings, URLs, images, meta titles, meta descriptions, internal links, and other relevant SEO elements.
- Working with digital marketing and content teams to implement SEO and digital marketing requirements.
- Monitoring website traffic, user behaviour, conversions, and other relevant analytics.
- Using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor and analyse website performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve website performance, usability, content, functionality, and conversion rates.
- Conducting website testing before publishing new pages, updates, features, and content.
- Ensuring websites are compatible with major browsers and responsive across different devices and screen sizes.
- Coordinating with external developers, hosting providers, software vendors, and other service providers when required.
- Managing website plugins, themes, integrations, forms, and third-party services where applicable.
- Supporting integration of websites with CRM, ERP, payment gateways, social media platforms, analytics tools, and other business systems.
- Maintaining proper documentation of website structures, updates, changes, plugins, integrations, hosting information, and maintenance activities.
- Ensuring website content and functionality comply with company brand guidelines, copyright, privacy, accessibility, and other relevant requirements.
- Keeping up to date with website development technologies, CMS updates, web standards, SEO practices, security requirements, and emerging digital trends.
- Supporting website-related digital campaigns, product launches, online promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
- Providing regular updates and reports to management on website performance, maintenance activities, development progress, and issues.
- Performing any other website development, maintenance, and digital technology-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in website development, website management, web administration, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Practical experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of website hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, backups, and basic website security.
- Experience with website maintenance, troubleshooting, content updates, and technical support.
- Good understanding of UI/UX and responsive web design principles.
- Knowledge of SEO and website optimisation will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, APIs, or other web development technologies will be an added advantage.
- Experience with website integrations, plugins, payment gateways, CRM/ERP systems, or third-party applications will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of website performance optimisation, page speed, caching, and basic technical SEO will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Git or other version-control systems will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator will be an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on website quality and user experience.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple website development and maintenance requirements simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with developers, designers, marketers, and other teams.
- A proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and results-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new web technologies, tools, and digital trends.
