Role Summary

Colombo Dockyard PLC is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Welding Instructor to join our Training and Development team.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education: NVQ Level 5 or 6 in Welding Technology from a TVEC-recognized institution and a certificate of proficiency.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in delivering training, designing curricula, managing lesson plans, and handling administrative responsibilities.
Preferred: Weldment testing qualifications (VT, PT, MPI, or RT).
Age: Below 40 years.
Language: Strong command of English (written, spoken, and comprehension).
Attributes: Highly motivated, physically fit, and a collaborative team player.

Salary/Benefits

Selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary package coupled with additional benefits.

Appointment Details

The appointment will be on a one-year contract basis, with an opportunity for permanent employment subject to performance evaluation.
